I designed an anti-procrastination and productivity app to address the growing phone addiction and procrastination epidemic I see around me. Beyond a typical site blocker, this app empowers users to take control of their time by providing insights into their phone usage habits and offering curated self-improvement content.

The goal was to create a tool that not only blocks distractions but also helps users build better productivity habits, track their progress, and achieve personal growth. The app is a holistic approach to combating procrastination and fostering long-term productivity and mindfulness.

Block content

The app allows you to block specific apps and web content during designated times or days of the week, helping you stay focused and productive. If you attempt to unblock these distractions, the app dissuades you with reminders of your goals or motivational quotes. It could also require you to complete a short task, like typing out why you want to unblock the content or reviewing your productivity stats, reinforcing your commitment to staying on track.

More commitment

Setting a goal adds an extra layer of commitment. Stick to your program for a set time, and you'll earn reward points. These points can be redeemed for products that promote productivity and wellness, like books, classes, and memberships. For added accountability, you can share your goal with a contact.
